Lockbox is a service that the commercial bank offers its corporate customers to enable them to outsource their accounts receivable payment processing. This automation accelerates the incoming cash flow by importing the bank’s proprietary lockbox file, matching the payments up against the customer’s invoices, and then processing the payment application batch. This application utilizes the JDE tools set and functionality to automate the lockbox process.
